Choosing the Right Size: To keep your baby safe and comfortable, the best fit is based on length and weight rather than age. Check out our Sizing Chart for the most accurate size

To ensure safety and comfort we recommend following these simple tips.

  • Use your baby’s current weight and length, not age, to select the best size.
  • The neckline should sit comfortably at the shoulders—not too high or loose.
  • The body should allow gentle movement but not have excess fabric that bunches.
  • If your baby is between sizes, consider how quickly they’re growing and choose accordingly

What is a TOG rating?

TOG stands for Thermal Overall Grade, which tells you exactly how warm a wearable blanket is. We use these ratings to help you pick the perfect layer based on your home's temperature. It takes the guesswork out of bedtime so you can rest easy knowing your baby is dressed for a safe and comfortable sleep

Which TOG rating should I choose for my Beekeeper blanket?

We current offer two types of Beekeeper wearable blankets:

Lightweight (0.5): Best for warmer room temperatures or layering with lighter sleepwear

Quilted (1.5): Great for cooler rooms or extra warmth

Important Reminders:

Consider ALL Layers: The TOG rating is just for the wearable blanket itself, so remember to account for what your baby is wearing underneath (onesie, footie PJs, etc.).

Always Check In: The best way to ensure your baby is not too warm is to gently feel their neck and back. They should feel warm and dry, not sweaty or clammy.

Trust Your Instincts: You know your baby best! Choose the weight that makes the most sense for your home's climate and your little one's comfort.
